Sara Gomez, child and adolescent counsellor, in a natural setting

My relationship with Nature

Growing up in the heart of London, I initially saw nature as something distant, despite the local parks nearby. It wasn't until I travelled beyond the city that I truly discovered the profound sense of belonging and peace that the outdoors can provide. This personal journey deeply shaped my belief that nature is a space where everyone should feel welcome and secure. My own evolving bond with the natural world is what drives my passion to support you or your child today.
I am dedicated to bringing therapy into the fresh air, creating a calming environment where young people can rebuild their connection with the outdoors. By using the natural world as a gentle partner in our work, I help clients find the emotional grounding and resilience they need to thrive. Whether rediscovering the environment or finding their voice, I am here to facilitate a supportive path toward lasting wellbeing.

About me

My approach

Welcome. I am a South London-based BACP registered counsellor specializing in support for older children and teenagers. In addition to my core therapeutic training, I have a certificate in Nature Allied Psychotherapy, a practice rooted in the restorative power of the natural world.
Having worked for several years within schools, I understand the unique hurdles young people face, from anxiety and neurodiversity to school-related stress. I recognize that a clinical office can sometimes feel restrictive or intimidating. That is why I offer outdoor sessions—providing a refreshing alternative to traditional indoor therapy.
Nature acts as a gentle co-therapist, helping to soothe the nervous system and awaken the senses. Whether we are walking through green spaces or finding a quiet spot to sit, my focus is on creating a calm, non-judgmental environment. Here, your child can feel truly heard, grounded, and supported as they navigate their emotions at their own pace.

“The best place to enjoy nature is close to home.”

David Attenborough
